CMS Elementary is the starting point for our Eagle family. In classrooms, on the playground, and in the hallways, students learn that they matter—academically, socially, and as people. Teachers have room to notice when a child needs encouragement and to celebrate growth along the way.
From pre-kindergarten through sixth grade, we focus on literacy, numeracy, discovery, and character. Students build skills for middle school while forming friendships and habits that last. Families are partners in the work, and our staff welcomes your questions.

Why Families Choose CMS Elementary
CMS Elementary is a tuition-free public elementary school in Hot Springs, part of Cutter Morning Star Public Schools, so residency and Arkansas School Choice families enroll at no cost. The campus serves only PK-6, one grade band on one site, so the staff and schedule are built around younger learners instead of splitting attention across a K-12 building. With 305 students, class sizes stay small enough for teachers to know each child's name and needs. Families who want a public-school option without the size of a larger district often find that combination, tuition-free, single-campus, and close-knit, hard to match in Hot Springs.
