About our district

Our board members

The Cutter Morning Star Board of Directors sets policy, approves the district budget, and works alongside our superintendent to keep CMS focused on students and families.

Governance

Local leadership for our schools.

CMS is governed by a five-member board elected by voters in the district. Board members volunteer their time, live in the community, and make decisions in open meetings on behalf of students, staff, and taxpayers.

The board hires and evaluates the superintendent, adopts policies, and approves funding—but day-to-day learning stays in the hands of our educators. If you have a question for the board, contact the district office or speak during the public-comment portion of a regular meeting.
