Friday night's home game with Mountain Pine has been cancelled. The game was forfeited by Mountain Pine due to a large number of injuries, leaving them without enough players to field a team this week. This game will not be made up. The Junior High game on Thursday at Mountain Pine will still be played. Go Eagles!

🗓️ Why August instead of May?
Our yearbook covers the entire school year, including spring events, graduation, and summer highlights. The book isn’t officially finished until after school ends, which means it arrives in August. We truly appreciate your patience as our staff works hard to create one of the nicest yearbooks in the area.

Thanks to a generous donation from the City of Russellville, the Cutter Morning Star School District Police Department is proud to welcome two well-maintained police vehicles to our fleet!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Russellville City Council, Mayor Fred Teague, Chief David Ewing, Deputy Chief Phillip Varnell, and Lieutenant Keith Spears for their support in making this possible.

Our theme this year is "Excellence by choice, not by chance," and our staff showed just that with two powerful professional development days led by Cara Shores from Solution Tree!
For two days, our educators dug deep into Supporting Students to Meet Standards. Cara guided us through building learning progressions, designing aligned assessments, and creating rigorous, tiered lessons to ensure every student is supported and challenged.
👩🏫 Day 2 Highlights:
✅ Unpacking standards to build learning progressions
✅ Designing both formative & summative assessments
✅ Using assessment data to drive instruction & intervention
✅ Examining rigor in instruction
✅ Planning extensions for students who master the standards
🧠 Day 3 Highlights:
✅ Tiering instruction based on assessment data
✅ Creating scaffolds for struggling learners and extensions for advanced students
✅ Designing complete tiered lessons with purposeful groupings
✅ Exploring digital tools & AI to support differentiated instruction
Our teachers worked incredibly hard – collaborating, planning, and preparing to meet every student where they are and take them further than ever before. 💙💛 #ExcellenceByChoice #CMSStrong #ProfessionalDevelopment #SupportingAllStudents #SolutionTree
