MJ McIntyre & Hunter Nelson - 2nd place overall. 1st place Lake Hamilton (in the tournament season)
Junior Division
Patrick Covey & Collin Ferrell- 6th place overall
Kyle Shoemaker & Blake Bissell-9th place overall. 1st place on Lake Millwood (in the tournament season)
All 3 teams qualified for the AYFF 3 day Championship. This is where MJ McIntyre & Hunter Nelson won 1st place in their division and qualified them for the Worlds in Florence, AL.
Kyle Shoemaker & Blake Bissell and MJ McIntyre & Hunter Nelson- both teams qualified to fish the Texas Fallen Heroes Youth Fishing Championship in June.

Garland Co. Sheriff Department have accessed the area and have found no danger. For percautionary measures they will keep an officer in the area. As always we will continue to monitor the situation. School will resume as normal.

As a percaution the school is under soft lockdown. There is NO threat to the school or to the students. All children are safe. There have been reported gunfire in the area. All students faculty and staff are safetly in the buildings.

The STEM Center at Henderson State University administered a grant to provide $3000.00 dollars worth of science classroom materials to Cutter Morning Star Elementary School. Third and fourth grade teachers received these science materials and professional development from state science specialist, Katie Curry, and STEM Center director, Michelle Johnson. It’s a great day to be an Eagle
