Friday, December 21 is National Ugly Christmas sweater day. CMS faculty and staff celebrated on Wednesday, December 19th, prizes were given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Today marks the End of the 2nd Quarter.

Congratulations to Mr. Sullivan for winning first place in CMS ugly Christmas sweater contest. Mrs. Dankert was our second place winner and Ms. Johnston was 3rd place winner. Congratulations to all of our winners. The competition was tough. Thank you to all participants.

Wednesday, December 12th is National Gingerbread House Day. If you have never visited the Gingerbread House in the Lobby at the Arlington Hotel it is worth the trip during the holidays.

Friday, December 7, is National Pearl Harbor Day. What do you know about Pearl Harbor? Ask your teachers they can tell you the history. It is very important to be knowledgeable about history.
In a 1948 speech to the House of Commons, Winston Churchill changed a quote slightly when he said (paraphrased), 'Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.’
