CMS will be back on our regular schedule tomorrow! Thank you all for working with us today on our late start.

At Monday night's school board meeting, teachers were recognized for their student growth scores based on the Spring '25 Atlas exams. We are proud of their outstanding work in their classrooms and for supporting our students!

CMSSD will have a two hour delay tomorrow, February 3, 2026. It is possible our buses will still not be able to complete all routes. We will assess first thing in the morning and notify you of any routes that will be altered or canceled.

It's National School Counseling Week and Cutter Morning Star wants to thank Ms. Coffman and Mr. Hall for all the support they provide to our students. Thank You! ❤️🦅

CMSSD closed Monday, February 2, 2026.

After driving the district roads this afternoon, we find that some roads are still not safe for travel. There will be no school Monday. Hopefully the warmer weather Monday will clear our roads!

CMSSD will be closed again on January 30, 2026. A huge thank you our maintenance staff, to Dr. Campbell, Coach Pogue for trying to clear our parking lots.

CMSSD will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 due the bus routes being too treacherous for travel. Our number one priority is safety.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Tracy Pratt and her family during this difficult time. Mrs. Pratt's mother, Mrs. Margret McCard passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2026. Mrs. McCord was a life long educator. She taught at Cutter Morning Star, National Park College, and Lakeside. She will be greatly missed.

We will be out of school on January 26 and 27 due to inclement weather.

We are closely monitoring the weather. Currently the models are showing precipitation staring late afternoon on Friday. If current forecast remains the on track we will be able to have a normal school day on Friday, January 23rd. Please follow our social media accounts for the most updated information. Please stay warm and safe.

Due to possible inclement weather we are postponing our Friday, January 23rd, 2026 basketball games until Thursday 29th of January with Dierks.

Cutter Morning Star School District extends our deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Jeri Winiecki. Mrs. Winiecki served as a fourth-grade teacher during the 2024–2025 school year and was dearly loved by her students and colleagues. Her bubbly personality brought warmth, kindness, and positivity to her classroom and throughout Cutter Morning Star Elementary School. The impact she made on our students and school community will be felt for years to come, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. We understand that this news may be difficult for some students and families. School counselors will be available on Monday to support any students who may need assistance processing this loss. Please know that we are keeping Mrs. Winiecki’s family, friends, and colleagues in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
