Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 10-14, and the 12th leading cause of death overall in the U.S. And for every suicide death, the CDC says, 275 people seriously entertained thoughts of suicide. It's game day! And we need to remind everyone of a few things so we all have a safe and fun evening. Students may NOT stay after school and wait for the game. They must go home and return. Those found trying to hide out and stay will not be allowed to enter the game. Please follow the signs and directions for parking. We will have people out directing traffic. For the safety of everyone, all patrons must stay within the stands and concession stand areas. No one may leave the game and re-enter, and no one will be allowed to hang out in the parking areas. Those found hanging out in parking areas will be asked to leave. As always, children in the 6th and younger grades must always be accompanied by their guardians. Students of any age are not allowed to hang out under the bleachers or in the field behind the bleachers. Please work with us to ensure everyone has a safe and fun night!

Due to unforeseen circumstances and low school attendance numbers at both Cutter Morning Star and Mt. Pine School District tonight's junior high football games have been canceled. Volleyball will be canceled also due to low school attendance. Thank you and Go Eagles.

Cutter Morning Star School has been made aware of the threat on social media. It appears to be a national threat. Local law enforcement are involved as well. We take every threat seriously. Safety and security is our number one priority. We will have our SRO team, CSSO team, armed security, security and safety team, and presence of local law enforcement on our campus today and tomorrow. Our priority is to always keep our students and staff safe at all times.

Just a reminder that everyone must pay for the Powder Puff game tonight. The cost is $5 and it all goes to childhood cancer research! Student passes are not good for charity events. Thanks you!

Dear Families, We hope this message finds you well. As we continue to prioritize the safety and security of our students and community, we want to remind you of an important policy regarding supervision during activities on the Cutter Morning Star School District campus. For safety reasons, any child below the 7th grade must be accompanied by an adult at all times during any events or activities on campus. This includes athletic events, school programs, and family nights. Due to the unique location of our school near the bypass and Highway 70, ensuring security can be challenging. While we have law enforcement and administrative supervision at events, the direct supervision of your student/child remains your responsibility. Please be aware that any unsupervised children will be returned to you, and we expect that they will stay with you for the remainder of the event. While we deeply value and appreciate your support of our students and activities, the safety and security of everyone involved remains our top priority. We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring all students are appropriately supervised. Additionally, we ask that no one stand along the fences or congregate around the concession stand. These areas must remain clear for the safe egress of persons with disabilities and to allow unobstructed views for all attendees. Law enforcement and administration may be stationed in these areas to provide optimal supervision. Your support and cooperation are critical in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone. Thank you for your continued dedication to the Cutter Morning Star community and for ensuring our Eagles thrive in a secure and supportive atmosphere. With appreciation, Cutter Morning Star School District
