Save the Date: Cutter Morning Star groundbreaking ceremony is Monday, May 21 at 8:30 a.m. at the building site.
Garland Co. Sheriff Department have accessed the area and have found no danger. For percautionary measures they will keep an officer in the area. As always we will continue to monitor the situation. School will resume as normal.
As a percaution the school is under soft lockdown. There is NO threat to the school or to the students. All children are safe. There have been reported gunfire in the area. All students faculty and staff are safetly in the buildings.

The STEM Center at Henderson State University administered a grant to provide $3000.00 dollars worth of science classroom materials to Cutter Morning Star Elementary School. Third and fourth grade teachers received these science materials and professional development from state science specialist, Katie Curry, and STEM Center director, Michelle Johnson.
