We don't monkey around with live wires! During the storm last night, a power line fell across our back entry to the Elementary building. Entergy was immediately called and we hope to have the line repaired very soon. Thank you, parents, for making the quick adjustment to the drop off procedure. And a special thanks to all the wonderful staff who came out to help re-route the traffic and get our kids dropped off safely and quickly.
Please be very cautious and follow traffic guards this morning as we re-route traffic. We have a power line down that is disrupting normal traffic flow. Entergy has been contacted and will be on site soon.

Just a friendly reminder that we will be dismissing school today at 3:35 from the elementary and 3:38 at the high school. We will dismiss early every Wednesday at these times. CMS Booster Club is looking for volunteers to help at the concession stands this year for football, volleyball, and basketball games. I am attaching links for all 3. Seniors: Tomorrow is Senior Picture Day at the high school arena. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time that we have discussed in person, by phone, or by email. Most of the appointment cards that were sent out by mail were correct, although a few were not. I have confirmed scheduled times with all seniors planning to have their pictures taken. Don't forget to bring your baby picture or email it to me by tomorrow, along with the $10.00 sitting fee. I have invited the class to fill out the Senior Bio form online, which is due tomorrow, but paper copies will also be available. If you have not filled out the online version, please complete it before our meeting. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Welcome back tomorrow, students! We are looking forward to seeing you and to the exciting year ahead! FYI for previous bus riders: Buses will be arriving at stops around 10 minutes EARLIER than last year. Please make arrangements if your child plans to ride the bus in the morning. See you then!
As classes begin tomorrow, please be patient dropping off your student. Staff will be directing traffic to help keep it flowing as efficiently as possible. The first 2 weeks of school, please expect extra traffic delays. Please be kind to the staff and other parents and be very cautious in the school zones.
Our thoughts and prayers are with this family and the Pulaski County Special School District during this tragic event.

Where: CMS High School Parking Lot.
Tonight, Cutter Morning Star High School will hold parent and student meetings at the high school arena. During these meetings, we will pass out schedules and go over policies and procedures for the upcoming school year.
These meetings will be separated by grade. Seniors and juniors will meet from 5:00-6:00 PM. Freshman and sophomores will meet from 6:00-7:00 PM. 7th and 8th graders will meet from 7:00-8:00 PM. Please bring $25.00 with you to pay the technology fee. This covers the cost of normal wear and tear and is used to update and maintain the Chromebooks.
On Thursday, August 10th, we will have open house from 4:00-6:00 PM. The first day of school will be August 15th. Looking forward to a great school year!
