SOAR

I cannot believe this school year is almost over. These last few weeks we will focus on handling testing anxiety, transitioning to the next grade and summer safety. The last few weeks, I have talked to several classes about RESPECT. What that word looks like, sounds like and feels like in their classrooms and at home. We have talked about how to respect ourselves and others. I know that students are getting antsy and counting down the days also, but parents help remind them to be respectful to their classmates, teachers and friends.

We will be discussing state testing and feelings of anxiousness and worry surrounded by this time of year. Parent’s please encourage your students to eat a good breakfast those mornings, wear warm clothes or jackets so they can be comfortable in class, get plenty of rest the night before, charge their Chromebook and work hard! Maybe write a small encouraging letter to your student and send it to the teacher to hand to them before the test.

We are continuously teaching our  SOAR behavior expectations. We would love for you to help us to encourage students to always SOAR at school.
