About half of the Eagle Band travelled down the street to Mountain Pine ( to attend “Solo and Ensemble” night. Each of the 12 that participated prepared a solo and performed for a judge for ratings. All the judges are top notch band directors and rate on a 5 point scale.
Ratings are as follows:
1 - Superior - Blue Medal
2 - Excellent - Red Medal
3 - Good
4 - Okay
5 - Poor
The Eagles brought home 6 - 1’s - Blue Medals and 4 - 2’s - Red Medals and 2 - Good ratings! They were complimented on how courteous and prepared they were when they came in for judging. We have kids that just joined band this semester doing so well. So proud of our band kiddos!
