Flag Dedication and Flag Ambassador Training

Flag Dedication

Cutter Morning Star Elementary held a Flag Dedication and Flag Ambassador Training on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  Sergeant Holley with the Arkansas National Guard visited Cutter Morning Star Elementary and shared with our Flag Ambassadors what the Flag of the United States of America stands for and what each of the items on The Flag of the United States of America represent.  Sergeant Holley then showed the Flag Ambassadors how to lower the current flags, fold them correctly and how to raise our new flags. Cutter Morning Star Elementary School Flag Ambassadors are: Yamil Altimarano,  Andrew Howanietz, Braxton Robinson, Madison Dwyer, Aaliyah Shirley, Maliyah Gardner, Makenzie Fuston, and Zane Cobb.

Cutter Morning Star Elementary dedicated our flags at the end of the flag training.  The Flag of the United States of America was flown over the United States Capitol at the request of the Honorable Bruce Westerman, Member of Congress and was dedicated to Cutter Morning Star Elementary School.  The Flag of the State of Arkansas was flown over the Arkansas State Capitol on August 18, 2020, and was presented to Cutter Morning Star School District Elementary School at the request of Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin.
